A tour of local bars and restaurants where you can enjoy tuna and northern bonito as pintxos, with a guarantee of responsibly sourced, sustainably caught fish and the quality of the season’s star ingredient.
As every summer, in partnership with the Bermeo City Council, BIZI BERMEO offers a wide range of leisure and tourism activities linked to the sea and fishing in Bermeo.
At Bermeo Tuna World Capital, in collaboration with the City Council, we organize the Bermeo Tuna Pintxo Tour: a route through local bars and restaurants, each offering a daily white tuna pintxo, with the guarantee of responsible sourcing from sustainable fisheries, the highest quality, and the exceptional flavor of the season’s star product.
Pick up your brochure at the Bermeo Tourist Office (La Lamera Park) or at any of the participating bars and restaurants, where you’ll find a map listing all the participating venues. Plan your route and start enjoying yourself! At each bar, with your BTWC pintxo—which you’ll recognize by our logo—ask to have your brochure stamped. Once you’ve collected 5 stamps, turn in the brochure at the Tourist Office and you’ll be entered into a drawing for BTWC canned food product packs.
The Bermeo Tuna Pintxo Tour will run throughout July and August, every day from 12 PM to 2 PM.
One raffle will be held in July and another in August.

A technical training and awareness-raising initiative to strengthen the fishing sector’s capabilities and promote sustainability within the local community, through the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) fisheries standard.
An annual event in Bermeo where the fishing and canning industries showcase their products, flavours and maritime culture, with tastings and activities for all ages. Bermeo Tuna takes part with culinary offerings designed to introduce visitors to tuna in various forms and to learn about its value and sustainability.
