World Tuna Month

Throughout May, Bermeo Tuna is organising divulgative talks to raise public awareness of the importance and scope of the Bermeo tuna value chain, linking World Tuna Day (2 May) with the Arrain Azoka (fish fair) in Bermeo.

What is it?

A series of events to foster dialogue and awareness around tuna and social, economic and environmental sustainability, whilst also bringing the sector’s activities and opportunities closer to the public.

Objectives

  • To highlight the importance and benchmark status of the Bermeo tuna value chain.
  • To bring the activities of companies linked to the sector closer to the public.
  • To expand opportunities for economic and professional development.
  • To foster dialogue and awareness regarding tuna and sustainability.
