Following the success of its first edition, the Bermeo Tuna Forum returns stronger than ever. In 2027, it will bring together international leaders, scientists, the fishing industry, and institutions to promote solutions and commitments that will shape the sustainable future of the oceans and the global tuna industry. A unique forum where sustainability moves beyond mere rhetoric to become a shared responsibility.

Training and Outreach Week on Sustainable Fishing (with MSC)
A technical training and outreach initiative to strengthen the capacity of the fishing sector and bring sustainability closer to the local community through the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) fisheries standard.
An ‘ocean-to-table’ experience that combines gastronomy, culture and sustainability to showcase Bermeo Tuna’s comprehensive tuna value chain model: traceability, shared responsibility, and environmental, social and economic commitment.
Bermeo Tuna participated in various events at the High-Level Political Forum (HLPF) in New York, where it presented a real-world example of the implementation of SDG 14 with global impact: it participated in an official session and organized two side events.
