Bermeo Tuna is organizing a culinary event as part of the High-Level Political Forum in New York to position the value chain associated with tuna fishing and processing, as well as the Basque wine sector, as global leaders in sustainability.
An institutional event aimed at international stakeholders, the media, and food industry professionals, featuring an extended panel discussion and a cocktail reception featuring sustainable canned tuna and albacore from canneries affiliated with Bermeo Tuna.
A technical training and awareness-raising initiative to strengthen the fishing sector’s capabilities and promote sustainability within the local community, through the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) fisheries standard.
