A tour of local bars and restaurants where you can enjoy tuna and northern bonito in pintxo form, with a guarantee of responsibly sourced, sustainably caught fish and the quality of the season’s star product.
The Bermeo Tuna Pintxo Tour is an initiative organized by Bermeo, in collaboration with the Bermeo City Council, that offers a culinary tour of local establishments: each one serves a daily pintxo made with white tuna, marked with the Bermeo Tuna logo.
Bermeo Tuna Forum: sustainability and global partnerships for the future of tuna
The first international Forum organised by Bermeo Tuna World Capital, bringing together institutions, scientists, companies and international organisations in Bilbao and Bermeo to promote sustainable and comprehensive management of the tuna sector.
Bermeo Tuna is taking part in the United Nations World Ocean Conference in Nice with a side event on the localisation of the 2030 Agenda, where it places the importance of local action and territorial governance at the heart of the debate as fundamental pillars for achieving a sustainable blue economy.
In addition, the day before, we participated as guests in the side event organized by UN Etxea, “Accelerating Ocean Sustainability through Gender Equality”
