Sustainable Tuna Experience 2026

Sustainable Tuna Experience

An ‘ocean-to-table’ experience that combines gastronomy, culture and sustainability to showcase Bermeo Tuna’s comprehensive tuna value chain model: traceability, shared responsibility, and environmental, social and economic commitment.

What is the Sustainable Tuna Experience?

A gastronomic and institutional event that translates the sustainable tuna model into a tangible experience: each dish reflects the product’s history and the link between the region, its people and good fishing practices.

Objectives

  • To highlight the commitment to environmental, social and economic sustainability within the value chain linked to Bermeo Tuna.
  • To showcase the end-to-end supply chain model based on traceability and shared responsibility (from catch to final consumer).
  • To strengthen the international reach of the International Declaration for Tuna Sustainability as a tool for global cooperation and awareness-raising.
  • To introduce European and international stakeholders to a sustainable and innovative fishing model.
